Welcome to the Design Your Own Website in 24 Hours Course This course is aimed at small businesses, on a budget, who want a website they can maintain and update themselves for free. What's The Catch? This Chinese proverb is a clue. “Give a man a fish and you have fed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you have fed him for a lifetime.”

OK here’s the deal. I normally charge £500 to design a six page website. For this cost I will design and host the site, include domain registration and search engine optimization.

If you want to pay me £500 to design a six page website for you then I will be happy to oblige. If you then want me to update it or add extra pages I’ll simply charge you an hourly or page rate.

On the other hand you would like to attend one of my two day courses – which cost £500 – we will build your website together. At the end of the two days you will have designed your own company or personal website. You will be able to maintain it yourself for free and add and upload extra pages whenever you want to.

We have a hugh selection of customisable website designs to fit any industry. This site was designed and built using exactly the same tools you will be using. We will show you how to alter the colour scheme or graphics to suit your requirements.

This course will show you how to:

• Add a custom logo
• Format the text for that professional look
• Optimize your pictures so they download quickly.
• Get your website found by the search engines.
• Upload the site to the internet

What is the cost

The idea is that instead of paying a web designer £500 to design your website, and then keep paying for updates or a monthly hosting fee, you will have a similar product you can update your self for the same price. The cost for the two days training is £450 plus £50 for the domain and hosting for two years. Also included is two hours per person email support from the tutor and a CD containg free software and course files. Lunch is included on both days.
